The Best 61 Key Piano - Features and Functions
Is a 61 key piano good enough to play piano? Is a 61 key piano good enough for beginners? What is the best beginner piano lesson for beginners? These are some of the most common questions that arise from people who want to learn how to play the piano.
The most commonly used piano nowadays is the Fender Stratocaster, and it comes with two standard styles of acoustic keyboards: the "DS" model and the "BK" models. The difference between these two models is the number of frets. The Fender Stratocaster has twelve frets, while the BK models have ten. Since there are only sixty-two keys on the Fender Stratocaster and the BK models, users have to learn how to use and control those keys properly.
If you are going to buy a Fender Stratocaster, it would be a good idea to get a set of beginner piano books or videos. A lot of users say that this is the best thing that they can do to help them master playing the instrument. These beginner books or videos can provide you with enough information about the instrument so that you will not have a hard time learning how to play. Once you've learned the sixty-two keys, you may have to go back and study the remaining forty-six keys so that you will be able to make use of the regular piano buttons and octaves properly.
The reason why Fender produces different models of the Stratocaster is because they have different buttons. The regular piano keys that come with this keyboard are covered with what Fender calls "novation buttons." These are Cherry MX Cherry key switches that allow users to change the function of each button by just pressing a specific key. The novation function is very convenient for beginners because they can easily master the combination of regular keys and the novation function.
But there are also some downsides in using the novation function with this keyboard. First of all, because of the number of extra keys that it contains, it can sometimes be difficult to hit the right keys. This is especially true for users who are only starting out and who find it hard to exert a full force on their fingers to produce octaves. Aside from that, octave playing is only possible when you learn how to read music notation, which is another thing that this model lacks.
There are times when you need a full force attack on your fingers to produce octaves. That's why you have to get a good amount of practice on the instrument. It wouldn't be a good idea to go out and buy yourself a Fender Stratocaster if you are only going to play for practice in your home. Even though Fender makes a good instrument, you still need to know how to play it so that you can practice and learn to play well. Having a novation model might just put you at risk of hurting your fingers due to constant hitting on the wrong keys.
Another feature that you should take a look into is the drum pad. The pad of the keyboard is what you will use to execute the notes you are playing. There are models that already come with drum pads. You do not need to purchase additional drum pads to enhance your enjoyment of the keyboard. Some of the cheaper models do not have them so you might want to invest in these if you are looking for a good sounding instrument.
If you want to experience a good and tight tone, then you should get yourself a good model that comes with novation functions and waveform modulation. There are models that have been equipped with velocity-sensitive drum pads and you can choose from these if you are serious about producing great octaves. The best models will allow you to get the desired sound of the song or instrument that you are playing.
